Hello,Julie. Took me a while to figure out who you were. From the Ymca and Lisa's? Right. Thanks for the web page. Copied
the turkey burger and roasted peppers recipes down. Hopefully I will get to try them. Glad to see you are doing well. I am
struggling with staying balanced as usual. I pray someday I will be. Life just throws you curve balls. I am blessed to be
be were I am. Would love to lose 10lbs. though. Not complaining, just need to get the attitude back and I know it's a lifetime

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 7 years ago. I am so frustrated with the weight gain, pain, anxiety/panic attacks,
& the doctors just giving medicine to cover up everything. I want to restore some or all of my health if that's possible.

Dear Julie:
I just read your son's story and I have to say that it reminded me of my son's situation in many ways. After 6 years we are
still grappling with getting a formal diagnosis. So far we have: ADHD, PDD-NOS, Developmental Delays, Social Impairments,
Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Sensory Integration Dysfunction, Speech impairments, auditory processing dysfunction & possibly
visual processing disorder. His odd behaviors have decreased significantly which makes it more difficult for the doctors to
figure out. He has issues in every single category but not quite enough to diagnose him with Autism. We have been doing
biomedical treatments, nutritional supplements, enzymes, probiotics, etc. along with special diets (GF/CF/SF) for 2 1/2 years
and have noticed a significant improvement - he is at least 70 - 80% improved. He used to "lick things" (floors, walls, people's
legs) - again the docs said this was normal. We later found out that this was PICA - a nutritional deficiency! The diarrhea
he had for 3 1/2 years is gone (all the docs said that this was normal!!!!)We are not at the finish line yet but we are a
lot closer now than when we started on this journey 2 1/2 years ago. I want to encourage you to continue to be a light and
an inspiration to others. Thank you for making a difference in so many people's lives. |
