Here you'll learn all about
me: my interests and hobbies, the people in my family, my pets, and more. I've even included a list of my favorite links
to other sites.
Please take a moment to read our "ABOUT US" page which explains a little
about us and how we came about...it was a roundabout process, but we're glad we're here and plan on doing this for
a long time. It has been the best and most rewarding decision my family and I have ever made.
Our rescue dogs are treated no differently
than our own personal pets, which is what makes our efforts a success. Most dogs we take in have been abandoned, abused, neglected,
or were former kennel dogs who never knew what it was like to be out of a cage and run free, let alone be a real dog. This
is what we strive for and the dogs are allowed to come and go as they please and are around children, cats, birds, as well
as other dogs large and small, so they get used to a variety of situations. We will not knowingly adopt out an unhealthy animal
and all are fully examined by our veterinarian with a complete health certificate, current vaccinations, de-wormed, and heartworm
tested before leaving. And unless they are puppies, which we rarely have, they are also already spayed or neutered and
dentals are done too; whatever the need, we find a way to get it done. If they are deemed unsuitable for adoption
for whatever reason, they can stay here as long as needed. We do not euthanize and are a no-kill rescue. We are not like
a Humane society or a shelter; that is what makes rescue so unique. We feel there is always someone somewhere
out there just right for each pet we take in and sooner or later what's meant to be will be and each will find their
rightful home.
