Name: Christian & Katie
Home town: Torrance, CA
Date of stay: 5/21/2014
Reason for staying at Wasco House: Needed a nice cozy place to rest our heads during our drive from Spokane, WA to Los Angeles, CA
Comments: This quaint farm house built in the 1900's was a perfect stop for my girlfriend and I during our drive back home to CA. Dave was absolutely awesome, gave us a personal tour of WASCO and even walked me to the local bar so I could pick up a 6-pack of beer. Dave cooks an AMAZING breakfast and makes you feel very welcome in his home. So sorry to have missed Lisa during our stay, but if she is married to Dave, I's sure she is equally as pleasant. I highly recommend paying the small additional extra for a hot breakfast. You cannot beat Dave's cooking and the fresh eggs from his chickens. Thanks Dave! The 59 Caddy made is home without a hitch. 65-70mph the whole way averaging 16mpg!!

Home town: Hillsboro, Oregon
Date of stay: Oct. 20, 2013
Reason for staying at Wasco House: Road trip to John Day Fossil Beds
Comments: Dave and Lisa, Our stay at your B&B in the Petroglyph Room was a wonderful start to our Journey Through Time Scenic Byway. Thank you for suggesting our stop at Cottonwood Canyon State Park. It is not only lovely but will leave you with a sense of awe and respect for those who gave so much to settle this area. We looked for the old fashioned grater you used for our yummy homemade hash browns in every little store we came to; no success yet! Hope our travels will bring us back to your place for another friendly stay. Thank you

Name: Dana and Mary
Home town: Portland and Seal Rock
Date of stay: September 2012
Reason for staying at Wasco House: Vacation
Comments: Wasco House had everything we could want in a Bed and Breakfast. First, it was very clean - bottom line for a good experience. Second, the breakfasts were delightful and pretty healthy even - always including a home-baked coffee cake, scone or muffin. And third - the hosts were fantastic. Very gracious and welcoming. Sensitive to the times that we wanted to visit and times that we wanted to chill. They were helpful in pointing out area attractions. And in every way they made us feel at home. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Name: Stephanie and Todd
Home town: Rohnert Park, CA
Date of stay: 8/4/11
Reason for staying at Wasco House: Proximity to auto racing venue, and charm of the B&B
Comments: Dave was a wonderful, helpful host, and the Inn was just a beautifully-kept slice of turn-of-the-century (1900) architecture with modern features... like A/C! Wasco House was comfortable, clean, charming and memorable. If we're in the area in the future, we'll definitely want to stay in the Petroglyph Room again! Thanks for wonderful memories!
